Dagens bonuscitat

"We have architect Gudjon Samuelsson to thank for the slick look and feel of Reykjavik's cityscape including the spiky, geometric facade of Hallgrimskirkja Church, said to have been inspired by the rugged mountains and icebergs of Iceland. At the other end of town, the dazzling new Harpa Opera House lights up the harbour with its futuristic glass structure. These buildings may give a 'big city' impression, but in between the church and the opera house, Reykjavik is small and village-like."
